Daniel Bedell

Daniel Bedell is a member of the California bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent Office. Daniel brings a unique combination of technical, patent, and litigation skills to his practice. Daniel’s cases have involved a wide range of complex technologies including wireless communications, semiconductor fabrication, data storage, chemical processes, computer hardware and software, video game systems, and medical devices. He has represented clients in many key patent litigation venues including: the Federal Circuit; the International Trade Commission; and District Courts in California and Texas. In 2013, Daniel was recognized by his peers and selected by SuperLawyers magazine as a Rising Star in Intellectual Property Litigation

Daniel earned his law degree cum laude from the Santa Clara School of Law, where he received a full-tuition Dean’s Fellowship. Prior to law school, he earned a degree in chemical engineering cum laude from Brigham Young University, where he received a full-tuition academic scholarship.

Before practicing law, Daniel spent seven years as an engineer at IBM and Hitachi Global Storage Technologies, where he developed designs and processes for next-generation microelectronics and thin-film disk drive heads. He is an inventor on multiple patents and patent applications in the area of thin-film head design and manufacturing.
