Law Clerk
Law school student
Work directly with prosecutors and litigators on live matters — prior art analysis, claim charting, and research supporting opinions and post-grant petitions. A technical undergraduate degree is expected.
Technical Assistant
Science or engineering graduate
Support patent preparation and prosecution with invention analysis, figure preparation, and drafting assistance. A common route into a patent agent role and, for many of our attorneys, into the profession.
Patent Agent
Registered before the USPTO
Draft and prosecute applications in your own technical discipline. We hire agents with depth in semiconductors, software, machine learning, medical devices, and chemistry.
Associate Attorney
Admitted, with a technical degree
Prosecution, post-grant, and litigation work in the same technology area. Registration before the Patent Office is expected for patent roles.
