Jordan Scharf
Jordan Scharf is admitted to the Ohio State Bar and is registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He earned a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2017. He earned a Juris Doctorate in 2020 from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law with a concentration in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Jordan performed extensive work in Case Western’s Intellectual Property Venture Clinic. Jordan joined Amin, Turocy & Watson in 2017 as a law clerk, prior to starting law school, and subsequently became an associate upon graduation from law school in 2020. Jordan has experience in patent application preparation, prosecution, and opinion work. More specifically, Jordan has technical expertise in drafting and prosecuting patent applications regarding various technologies including cellular and telecommunications systems and networks, digital signal processing, image analysis, printers, copiers, medical devices and systems, photonic devices, automotive hardware and software systems, motorcycle communication systems, aviation systems, semiconductors, computer software/hardware, artificial intelligence and machine learning, augmented and virtual reality, Internet of Things devices, optical devices, and other electrical and mechanical technologies. |
