AlexanderH. Amin

Alexander Amin is an intellectual property attorney whose practice focuses on developing and protecting intellectual property involving complex and emerging technologies. His work includes patent preparation, trademark prosecution, and intellectual property counseling for companies, entrepreneurs, inventors, and in-house legal teams.

Alexander has experience preparing patent applications involving artificial intelligence and machine learning, medical imaging and healthcare technologies, quantum computing, cybersecurity, natural language processing, computer vision, and other software and computer-implemented technologies. He works closely with inventors and technical teams to understand sophisticated innovations and translate them into clear, commercially meaningful patent applications and intellectual property strategies.

His trademark practice includes federal trademark prosecution and counseling clients regarding the development and protection of their brands.

Alexander earned his J.D. from Emory University School of Law, where he served as a Staff Editor of the Emory Business Law Review, was named to the Dean’s List, and was selected to represent Emory in the American Intellectual Property Law Association’s Giles S. Rich Memorial Moot Court Competition, advancing to the regional semifinals. He also holds an M.A. in English and a B.A. in Economics and English from Emory University and is currently pursuing a B.S. in Physics at Georgia State University.
