Malavika Patel

Malavika Patel practices in the area of patent application preparation and prosecution. She is familiar with technologies and software involving machine learning, machine design, mechanical systems, thermodynamics and heat transfer, fluid mechanics, linear control systems, 3D modeling, 3D printing and engineering materials.

As a mechanical engineer, she draws from her prior engineering knowledge, experience, and technical writing abilities to practice patent engineering. Prior to being with the firm, she has worked primarily in new product development in the plumbing and architectural wall industries.

She earned a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Mechanical Engineering at Cleveland State University from where she graduated Summa cum Laude in 2019. During her undergraduate years, she tutored advanced calculus and physics subjects, conducted research work based on multi-rotor drones and was part of an undergraduate team involved with NASA's Psyche mission for her senior year project.

Malavika is passionate about technologies of the future, product engineering and green technologies. She is also an avid reader, multi-lingual and enjoys painting as a hobby.
