Gregory Turocy 변호사는 1991년 Ohio 주 변호사 자격을 취득하였으며, U.S. Patent and Trademark Office에 등록되어 특허 업무를 대리할 수 있는 자격을 보유하고 있습니다. 1994년에는 U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio에 변호사 등록을 하였으며, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit에도 등록되어 있습니다.
그는 1986년 Ohio State University에서 화학 전공으로 문학사(Bachelor of Arts) 학위를 취득하였습니다. 또한 1988년 University of Georgia에서 유기화학을 주전공으로, 분석화학을 부전공으로 하여 이학석사 학위를 취득하였습니다. 1991년에는 Mercer University에서 법무박사(Juris Doctor) 학위를 취득하였습니다.

Gregory는 일본 오사카에서 2년간 변호사로 활동하면서 Panasonic, Sharp Corporation 및 Kaneka Corporation과 함께 일했습니다. 현재 그는 정기적으로 일본을 방문하여 지식재산법의 최신 동향에 관한 강연을 하고 있습니다.
